  1. This better be good this time, don't disappoint us with this. I mean it looks promising…but please don't disappoint us Disney…*again*

  2. So soulless. These scenes would have looked so expressive and beautiful had they been animated. Instead we get this badly cgi'd, overly bright, badly voice acted turd with an inflated budget. But hey "blue" is in it! Barf.

  3. What if The Lion King Special Edition and The Lion King 1 1/2 played back-to-back together before The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride?

  4. Hakuna Matata; Swahili for No Worries also played in Toy Story as Molly saw Woody, Buzz and RC being hauled by the moving truck.

  5. Ngl, I'm pretty hyped for this movie. I know most of the voice actors are gone and it's not the original animation, but I really want to see their story and I feel like Disney can get this one right.

  6. Like Aslan from The Chronicles of Narnia trilogy, the photorealistic versions of The Lion King characters lacked facial expressions.

  7. It seems they took the criticisms from the first film about the emotionless faces and actually improved on them, kudos, that actually makes me more willing to watch this😄

  8. The Lion King was also the last of three Disney films with computer animation amongst traditional animation. It's also a Disney Renaissance film; one of eight Disney Renaissance films.

  9. Does anyone not gonna talk about the fact that animals have ACTUAL expressions this time?

  10. What’s with the terrible voice acting in this one?! They really don’t match the characters, it’s as if they phoned it in!

  11. Shoulda stuck with the original story woulda made a better movie imo

King Ahadi dealing with the drought while trying to raise mufasa and scar as worthy kings. Scars jealousy tearing the brothers relationship apart🤷‍♂️
