Synopsis: Upon inheriting his grandfather’s coin laundromat, a middle-aged Minato Akira gives up his former corporate life to run the well-loved coin laundry shop peacefully. One fine day, a high school student by the name of Katsuki Shintaro enters the laundromat and despite the age difference between them, both Shintaro and Akira quickly become good friends. However, in an unexpected turn of events, Shinarto suddenly discovers that Akira is gay.

This show is so cute. I'm normally really picky about age difference in shows, bl and otherwise. But I gave this a try because Japanese BL never does me wrong LOL. And so far I'm really fond of it.

He's totally on highschool and just going ahead with his feelings without really holding back, while Minato as an older person..thinks about things and retreats, and cannot really just go for things. You should also check out Old Fashion Cupcake, it is only 5 episodes. And in my opinion one of the best BL series i have seen. And the best BL of 2022. Its only shortcoming is that it's 5 episodes only😭. But it was wrapped up very nicely and i think you will love it!

So glad I gave this show a chance, I wasn't going to after I read the mydramalist description but thought since it was Japanese it might surprise me. And it did! It's one of my favourite currently airing BLs and the perfect replacement after old-fashion cupcake finished. I'm personally fine with the 10 year age gap as shin is almost 18 and the pursuer. I feel like a lot of the straight women watching found the age gap excessively problematic because they framed it in their experience of a heterosexual relationship, where the power dynamic and social context is different, but that's just my opinion.
It's such a cute show.💖
