  1. The fact that this is from Wit studio, the director is Tetsuro Araki, and the composer is Hiroyuki Sawano is more than enough reason to watch this

  4. A animação foi muito boa! e a história tinha tudo para ser maravilhoso também, mais foi uma decepção total..

  5. If it wasn't these two, Attack on Titan wouldn't have been as popular as today.

Please for the love of WIT Studio, please make season 2 of Kabaneri.

  6. Hah that reference hiroyuki sawano mentions at 8:29
SF reference. Didnt know he was fond of fighting games, mad respect. Hope he lands a gig on fighting games.

  7. Sadly, now as we see, this went so off the radar. I wouldn't have come to know this great of a ONA if for a post on an instagram feed but that shouldn't be the place I should be told about this.

Now that I have watched it I can see that people are not happy with the story but are impressed with literally everything else. But it's these times you realise that story is also a main part of an anime. Or it is the same mistake that studio 4C's children of the sea did. Even though great visuals but a not at that level story can really hinder the popularity of the show.

Also to condone on how badly this was marketed was first it was an ONA/Movie, second it was solely by Netflix while it's hate was at peak and rates were down. Third, it catered to the western audience. I have to admit this and netflix has proven it for us that anime marketing can only be done best on japanese grounds, the level of ways they go from seiyuu events to merchandise pre orders to insane billboards of japan, it was a way different level of marketing than just stapeling the name of sawano sensei and araki sensei and hoping for the best. Even though there might have been many other things done I didn't even heard about this grand of an anime production literally a month later which is very sad.

So yeah, a dissapointing story and marketing for an amazing staff.
