10年前、松山英樹は2014年のザ・メモリアルトーナメントでPGA TOUR初優勝を飾った。それ以来、松山は2021年のマスターズ・トーナメントで日本人男子初のメジャー制覇の快挙を含め、アジア出身の選手としてPGA TOUR史上最多勝利となる通算9勝を達成。アジア勢ゴルファーのみならず、世界でも屈指の選手の一人としての地位を確立した。
