香港で双子のパンダ産まれる　ママは世界最高齢“初産”(2024年8月18日)

　香港のテーマパーク「オーシャンパーク」で飼育されているジャイアントパンダの盈盈（インイン）が、双子の赤ちゃんを出産しました。

　公開された写真には、手のひらサイズのピンク色をした双子のパンダが写っています。

　CNNなどによりますと、ジャイアントパンダの盈盈は15日、122グラムの雌と112グラムの雄のジャイアントパンダを出産しました。

　この日は、盈盈の19歳の誕生日の1日前でした。

　パンダの初産としては世界最高齢で、人間だと57歳に相当するということです。

　オーシャンパークは赤ちゃんパンダについて、「安定するまでに時間が必要だ。特に雌の赤ちゃんは体温が低く、泣き声も弱く、食事の量も少ない」と説明しています。

　24時間体制でのケアが必要なため、来園者の前に姿を見せるのは数カ月先になるとみられます。
