How can you make a dog understand what down means? I try the treat method were you put a treat in your hand down to enforce the position but either I'm not doing it right or she is not understanding, is a Frenchie tho they tend to be stubborn
Cane is totally focused on his trainer. The Doberman is looking everywhere else. That’s my Dobie’s problem too. I can have her favorite treat in my hand and she’ll be more interested in that cat crossing the street. It’s really frustrating.

Obviously the Cane Corso is more used to the command anticipated at everything you said the other dog like you said just going to take work because he's new to you obviously so don't act like f**** the other dog with some sort of a miraculous obedient on first time he ever heard the command dog stop trying to be deceitful
