  1. It's interesting comparing this video to Kuga's Travel and his magical wander through the snow covered Ghibli town set to soft piano music. Whereas here we have the real experience of getting there; children crying on the train, standing in the cold waiting for the next bus, finishing the journey in essentially somebody's van. It reminds you that travel isn't always glamorous or idealized. But the destination is so worth the experience.

  2. I was so sure that last bus was going to be full… noticed the reduced seating because of Covid.

  3. What a beautiful town. The foot bath looked so relaxing! I love onsens so much! This will be my next destination when visiting Japan!

  4. Hello. I found your video very helpful and so nice. May I know your travel time to Ginzan (which month)? Thank you very much.

  5. Pretty lame tbh. He didn’t even get a chance to use the onsen and couldn’t buy much food because it was sold out. Most the trip he was just standing around in the wet cold waiting for stuff. Seems like a waste of a trip considering is was like 10hrs there and back.

  6. Who travels to a place 5 hrs a way and doesn’t stay the night? That’s a 10hr trip there and back. You’d spend most of waking day just traveling if you did that with barely anytime to enjoy anything. Peak Cringe.

  7. hi is it possible to walk in and check in any accommodation there in ginzan onsen . was hard to find and book one online

  8. Why were all those people walking backwards near the start of the video? Glitch in the matrix, maybe?

  9. What a beautiful place to visit even it very cool ….🥶🥶🥶for sure is in my bucket list Arigato gossai masu

  10. ghad, this episode got me on the edge of my seat 😅
    – couldn't board the bus
    – wasn't able to buy a meal
    – onsen were closed
    – touched the river water, and it's cold
    – went to the cave mine, but is closed
    – barely got in the cafe to eat

hopefully there will be reservations next time you go so you'd be warm and cozy inside the onsen ~
    enjoyed this video nonetheless! ❤

  11. seems that Ginzan is overrated. I first thought its an area of many Onsen Ryokens or small hotels to allow visitors to relax and enjoy the stay. This video seems otherwise. Thanks for the video
