Kameido Tenjin Shrine is an ancient temple that has gained faith as a god of learning, is known for its wisteria and plum blossoms, and is also depicted in “One Hundred Famous Views of Edo.” Kameido’s specialty, Kuzumochi, is sold at stalls, and Funabashiya, which was founded on the approach to Tenjinsha in the second year of culture, gained popularity, and Kuzumochi was also called Kameido Mochi.

From April to May. The wisteria in the precincts blooms all at once, and the entire shrine is dyed in mauve. It is also a feature that you can look down on the wisteria trellis on one side by looking over from the top of the Taiko Bridge. It is a famous place for wisteria, which has been called Kameido wisteria since the Edo period, and is visited by tourists from other than Kameido.

At the same time, a school festival is held, and many prayers for school prayers visit. The plum festival in February and the chrysanthemum festival in late October are also famous.—————————————————————————————————————
亀戸天神社は学問の神様として信仰を集め、藤と梅の名所で知られ、『名所江戸百景』にも描かれた古刹である。亀戸の名物、葛餅は屋台売りの他に、文化2年に天神社参道にて創業した船橋屋が人気を集め、その葛餅は亀戸餅とも呼ばれた。

4月から5月まで。境内の藤が一斉に開花し、神社中が一面藤色に染まる。太鼓橋の上から見渡すことで、一面の藤棚を上から見下ろすことができることも特徴。江戸時代から亀戸の藤と呼ばれた藤の名所であり、亀戸以外からも観光客が訪れる。

同時に学業講祭も行われ、学業祈願の祈願者も多く訪れる。例年2月の梅まつりと10月下旬の菊まつりも有名です。
