Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine is located in Dazaifu City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
It is the head shrine of all Tenmangu shrines in Japan, where Sugawara no Michizane is enshrined as the god of learning, culture, art, and protection from evil.
You can see beautiful scenery from season to season, and I visited during the most beautiful “ume (plum) blossom” season.
