⁴ᴷ Yamaguchi: Yamaguchi Station (山口県: 山口駅) – Japan Walking Tour (March, 2025)

Just like last month, I took the ferry from Yokosuka Port and arrived at Shin-Moji Port in Kitakyushu City. From there, I crossed the Kanmon Strait back to Honshu and began my journey along the Seto Inland Sea, heading toward Tokyo.

I traveled across Yamaguchi Prefecture from Shimonoseki to Yamaguchi Station. It turns out that Yamaguchi is located right in the middle of the prefecture, east to west. There aren’t many restaurants or bars around Yamaguchi Station, so I made a round trip to the hot spring area near the neighboring Yuda Onsen Station to find somewhere to eat and drink. It’s quite a long walk. Since it was a Friday, there were a fair number of people—though I couldn’t tell if they were locals out for a drink or guests staying at the hot spring inns.
