    Please, caal the blue city with her real name "CHAUEN" and that means in Amazigh "Hornes", the other name how you call it is only an aberration and means nothing. Thank you!

    Morocco is simple more south more affordable but more south more scams .

    So you paid more in the south not because it's expensive because they pump the prices for tourist.
    People in the north will not bother you to get into store and buy.
    In the northern city , nobody will talk to you while in Marrakech is mad harassment.
    My advice, avoid Marrakech go to Essaouira , avoid Casablanca, go to Rabat !
    Avoid fez , go to Tetouan , it's the white pearl of the north .
    Chefchaouen is cool but very small .
    Then Tanger , very eurppean vibe compare to Marrakech that has a African vibe

    Glad you made it to Morocco. I was there in 2011 and again in 2018.
    Fez (Fes) is my absolute favorite, followed by Chefchaouen, then Marrakech 🩵
