  3. I have visited the Acropolis many times, since I am an Athenian. In the 70's, the restoration works had not started yet and you could even visit the interior of the Parthenon. I consider myself lucky to have been able to stand inside the Parthenon. I was visiting the Acropolis with my school and I had a history teacher, who had a lot of knowledge about the architecture of the Parthenon and showed us up close, the way the columns have been created, so that they give the feeling of straightness. Each column is unique and that is why the reconstruction works take many years, because it is a very difficult puzzle, with pieces that take time and effort to put in place. You can see the whitest spots on the columns, which were created some years ago, from selected Pentelic marble and fit perfectly with each column.

  4. Strange to see those beautiful place where people lived hundreds years before, still beautiful but without all those people, their habits , their customs, their religion …… it’s like look at a skeleton ……🤔 the essence is disappeared

  5. Terimakasih, 2 jam seperempat yang sangat cantik dan jelas untuk konten yang anda buat.🙏🙏🙏🕊️

  6. Visiting in July 2022. Hope to re-create your walking route. Love how you did the map and red line.

  7. There is something sublimely tranquil about the remoteness of the Acropolis not unlike a seaside location where one looks out into the vastness of an eternal landscape as though it were an ocean to be sailed and voyaged. Obviously built during a time of global peace where one did not feel the threat of being attacked while located on a promontory but instead now felt safe to explore from.

  8. эх! красссавец Акрополь!
    люблю гулять рядом…
Дай Бог рая Периклу и всем его создателям!

  9. у меня есть одна заветная мечта, после смерти полетать на Элладой…

  11. I was there on a hot October day in 2007. I'm impressed with the amount of restoration they've done on the north side. Thanks for the nice video.

  13. I just discovered this site and it really is super. Brings back a lot of memories and adds useful descriptions of the various sites. Well done, I will be looking forward to more guided tours. Keep up the good work and thanks again.

  14. Thanks. I visited Athens but skipped acropolis because if was so crowded and ticket prices were too high (for me. 30€ for a "combination ticket"). It's better to visit it in winter when it's not that crowded and tickets are half price.

  15. I went to the Parthenon and Acropolis in 1982. I was much too young back then to really appreciate it but have great memories and pictures to look back at. great video thank you
