Biography
Sophie Turner is a British actress best known for her role as Sansa Stark on the HBO series Game of Thrones, which earned her international fame and critical acclaim. She was born on February 21, 1996, in Northampton, England.
Turner began acting at a young age, joining the Playbox Theatre Company in Warwickshire, England when she was just three years old. In 2011, at the age of 15, she was cast as Sansa Stark in the HBO series Game of Thrones, based on the book series “A Song of Ice and Fire” by George R.R. Martin. The role would become her breakout and she appeared in all eight seasons of the show.
Throughout her career, Turner has appeared in several films including Another Me (2013), X-Men: Apocalypse (2016), and Dark Phoenix (2019) playing the role of Jean Grey.
