Just saw Mamo’s new radio blog post today about this episode, and being a fan of both Mamo and Boukyaku Battery (Oblivion Battery), I figured that I should share this clip with you guys as well
I think we could all agree that when it comes to characters like Kei, it’ll most likely be voiced by Mamo, especially a cool ‘prince-like’ character with some kind of silly attributes, right?
I finished the anime in one day as soon as the last episode aired. Honestly, I felt like I went through an emotional roller coaster, MAPPA did such a great job on the details. The art is super neat too. Boukyaku Battery hits so much differently compared to other sports anime. The character backstory really did make it stand out among other series.
The main VAs in this series are also insane: Miyano Mamoru, Masuda Toshiki, Kaji Yuki, Shimazaki Nobunaga, Azakami Yohei…I was super excited when the trailer first came out, and it did turn out to be an amazing series, definitely cheering for a 2nd season!
